Let us drop the clothes of cowards and wear the heroes’ ones: Colonel C. Matungo
The heroes’ day was celebrated in Bwira sector on the District level. All speeches highlighted the acts of heroism of Imanzi, Ingenzi and Imena the three categories in which Rwandan’s heroes are classified. All remarks also focused to the theme “Uphold the heroism, fighting against the violence to the children.” Colonel Matungo , the commander of the 14th battalion operating in Ngororero District stressed that all Rwandans learnt in several churches that they have to respect their fellow creatures as they do to themselves but some of them didn’t observe that principle and killed their neighbors.
He urged all citizens to struggle for heroic acts being patriotic, honest, truthful and handsome. He criticized those who still are committing the acts of violence to the children. “They are cowards. They should drop the clothes of cowards and wear the heroes’ ones” he said . He stressed that children who are violated cannot became heroes because of traumatism. In his remark the member of Parliament honorable Nyabyenda Damien defined the hero as someone who is committed to reach heroic act which is useful to others. He does it with huge honest and sacrifice avoiding cowardice and overcoming all obstacles.
He also gave details about three types of heroes i.e Imanzi,Ingenzi and Imena. Focusing the youth he urged them to be committed to reach heroic acts fighting for honest, patriotism, truth…. against cowardice, drugs, alcohol drunks… he demonstrated all realizations of the Government of Unit and Reconciliation which deploys all efforts to increase the wellbeing of them in building 9YBE and 12 YBE. He urged them to highly benefit those advantages fighting for heroism against cowardice.
